CLA is developing one active campaign in each of its two areas of work. Each has a defined question, a practical work plan and a way to assess progress.
01 · Democracy & civil liberties
Examine public claims, mobilisation and support networks. Publish significant findings with sources, context and a fair opportunity to respond.
02 · Drug policy & addiction
Seek review of the special exclusion for substance addiction, so the ordinary disability framework can consider the individual. Start with employment, support and safety.
How we work
Explain the issue, the scope of the work and the change or scrutiny objective.
Draw on sources, practical experience and criticism. Make uncertainties and limitations clear.
Publish the work, correct material errors and separate activity from evidence of impact.
