Reform UK group leader and councillor for Yiewsley, Hillingdon

“import the 3rd world you get the 3rd world”

Context

Local Democracy Reporting Service coverage published in early October 2026 reported that the comment appeared beneath a Facebook-group post about a machete attack at Cowley Recreation Ground on 25 September. It was posted by an account called “Reform Yiewsley Councillors” in reply to another user referring to the “usual suspects”. The Metropolitan Police said it had released no information about the ethnicity or nationality of the two teenagers arrested and described claims about their backgrounds as speculation.

Attribution and response

Sophie Dror accepted authorship, saying: “I can confirm that the comment was made by myself.” She said it concerned a wider debate about immigration policy and mass migration, and was not intended to make any assertion about the ethnicity or nationality of the suspects. She rejected the accusation that the comment was intended to inflame community tensions. The Facebook comment was later removed; Dror said she did not remove it and did not know why it had been taken down.
